Linda Venturelli recorded these songs back in the early to late 1960''s and into the early 1970''s. The original reel to reel recordings were lost, but rare songs from cassette recordings were recently discovered, and digitally re-mastered.
The songs are down to earth simple, honest and heartfelt. The background is sometimes only a single guitar with vocals, but the substance and deep meaning of each song is profoundly true to life.
One of the most notable songs in this collection is ''Memories'' a wedding song that has been one of the most requested songs from this collection through the years.
Linda''s live music was a regular feature on Columbia, South Carolina''s WIS TV'' on the mid-morning ''Today In Carolina'' show, hosted by Joe Pinner and Jim Welch.
The popularity of Linda''s music got the attention of Clay Music''s Arthur Smith (Dueling Banjos). But in the end, a recording contract was side-stepped when romance won over the day and a 16 year old Linda married and moved to Florida to start a new life.
Today Linda is still happily married to the same guy, Dave(pictured on Cd cover) she met at the A&W rootbeer stand on Beltlind Blvd. The two currently reside in the Hartsville, South Carolina and are doing fine!
This is Linda''s first national CD both local and regional audiences have enjoyed for years. The songs include HELLO MAMA, ROCK & ROLL RIDE & LEAVING ON THE NEXT TRAIN, and more - presented here for the very first time in it''s original unedited format.
