Details:
It all began September 8, 1983 when Robert Charles Hollis came into the world. He would only know his father for a very short time before he abandoned Rob, his brother Rick, and there mother. Left with nothing Rob and his family moves in with Nana, Rob''s mother. Growing up was not easy; life never is for an under-privileged child. Rob lost his Papa in 1989 and the effects can be felt through the family even today. The Hollis family grew up with little to no income and with two growing boys in school it was not easy. Rob liked school, he loves art of all types and wishes he could have gone to college. By the ninth grade he knew he would never have the same opportunities due to his family''s situation. So he went on. This feeling was shared by him and a handful of his friends including Fred Beezy. It was music. They would practice everyday free-styling and just having fun with it. Fred left and went to Dallas for a number of years. Rob kept pushing forward here in Houston. If you keep your ear to the street you might just catch some of his older stuff; some music created with different friends over the years randomly pop up. By this time Rob is doing verses on mix-tapes for DJ Chill and hustling them on the streets at the same time. After some time of moving verses he to put out a CD of his own. Eventually he did. It was called Ransom Note; it was produced by him and his partner at the time, Lonnie Evans. After years apart, Fred Beezy returned to Houston and over a period of months they began discussing a full length album produced from the ground up. Rob''s mother introduced him to this cat named Jeremiah Emerson and after lengthy business discussions they came to an agreement; Deja Vu'' Entertainment was born. Rob Rippa and Fred Beezy were funded in the studio production that became (The Human Experience).
