Greetings in the Lord! My name is John LeBaron and I want to share with you the blessings the Lord has given me through music. For the past decade I have served Christ as a musician (organist) at Calvary Baptist Church. I also play guitar and have been writing songs for special music the last 4 years. The Holy Spirit lead me to record 12 of our favorite songs and I would like to make them available to everyone.
My album titled "The Flood or the Cross" is a reflection of the ministry at Calvary Baptist Church in Corning, NY. We believe music should be an integral component of a local church, not an autonomous ministry. Each song on the album is scrutinized by our local church for doctrinal accuracy, making sure it conforms with Holy Scripture, as given to us by Jesus Christ through His Holy Spirit. We pray these songs will edify you greatly, in your daily walk with our Lord and Savior. The album would best be described as "Christian Folk", with simple acoustic guitar arrangements and some keyboard.

The album contains 12 songs, each a reflection of different times in my spiritual walk where the Holy Spirit spoke to me through The Word.
Songs like "Stand on the Word" given to me after attending a "Ken Ham, Answers in Genesis" conference, is a powerful reminder that we shouldn''t back down no matter what the world thinks.
"Foxholes Hold no Unbelievers", a tribute to the Soldiers who fought and died for our freedoms, and how it mirrors Christ on the Cross.
The title song "Flood or the Cross", a fresh look at Genesis 6.
"The Savior''s always There", a wonderful song given to me through the "pep talk" Jesus gives us at the end of John''s Gospel.
"The Book" is a reminder that for Christians, God will look at Christ''s works, not ours.
"Come Quickly Lord Jesus", a beautiful song about the Lord''s Prayer.
"Jesus You''ve been so Good", a reflection of how wonderful our Savior is.
"Lord be Merciful", a study of Luke 18.
"The Song of the Lamb" the promise of Christ''s Glorious coming Kingdom.
"It''s not what I have done for Him" a reminder that all Good and perfect Gifts come from the Lord.
"Saved by Grace" a song given from Ephesians 2:8&9
"Joanne''s Song" a reminder of what precious gifts Christian wives are and how I have been blessed by the Lord.
