A native New Yorker, Rob Fontana began his piano studies at age 6. He went on to study classical music and jazz, developing a unique style. Rob''s style is rooted in jazz, and has elements of blues, funk, electronic music, world music and reggae. Stylistically, Rob has been influenced by Weather Report, Chick Corea, Joe Zawinul, Canonball Adderley, John McLaughlin and many others from a variety of musical genres.
