BIOGRAPHY FOR ANTONIO "LEGION" DAVIS

Antonio Lamar Davis was born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1986 on the 18th day of January. Growing up Antonio "Legion" Davis was always very much interested in making music, growing up around people older than him made it easier for him to catch on ver quickly on how to make music the correct way. By the time he was in fifth grade, Antonio "Legion" Davis was writing full songs with verses and choruses but it wasn''t until he was in the 7th grade, he actually started taking the music serious. After Rapping with older people around his neighborhood and at local school competitions, his skills on the MIC had become explosive and people began to notice it. He recorded his first full song at the age of twelve and hasn''t looked back since. After joining several different rap groups that never seemed to work out, he decided to take matters into his own hands. He decided he worked best as a solo artist. He has control of his destiny. The more Legion rapped and wrote the more and more serous he got. By the eighth grade his talents had grown so much he was writing songs for other people. He wrote rap songs, rap commercials, jingles, R&B songs, which really established him as a serious artist. Legion has the respect of his peers no doubt, but he always wants more. To him making music is more than just writing a verse and a chorus that rhyme. In order to make people feel your music; you have to feel it. Legion makes music that people can feel, that''s what makes him different from the average rapper. His music makes a difference.

Antonio "Legion" Davis has many influences like 2pac, Notorious B.I.G, Kriss Cross, and many others. Legion is still learning, which is why his music will only continue to grow. He is inspired by many artists today like Twista, Lil Wayne and of course Nelly and the Saint Lunatics because by them opening the door for St. Louis he believes that his dream can become a reality.

Legion has been working with several ad agencies writing radio spots for their clients. At the age of 16, an Ad Agency representative who represented McDonald''s restaurant heard him. In 2002, Legion started writing and performing radio spots for McDonalds restaurant in St. Louis, Missouri. He can be heard on the radio stations rapping the dollar menu and breakfast campaigns. The radio spots have done so well, he has snagged deals to write for Chicago and Washington D. C. area McDonalds as well. Legion has come out the gate with his first maxi single featuring the single "St. Louis Anthem", which speaks about his city and what can happen if you come into the LOU uninformed. His second single "Lose It" is a party song and will be warming up in the streets and the clubs this fall. Legion has performed and opened up for several national recording artists like: Project Pat, Fiend, Fabulous, Cash Money, Three Six Mafia and Chingy.
Legion has started a buzz in the LOU, but is still striving for that chance at National Recognition.
