Yohimbe is a 6 piece band, out of San Jose, CA., with a unique fusion of r&b, with a jazz twist and a hint of rock. This band has achieved recognition from their peers and listeners alike.
Playing in local venues while preparing for an upcoming year of openings and solo performances, YOHIMBE is about to explode on international recognition.
YOHIMBE, is a musical aphrodisiac. This is the creative vision of six Silicon Valley locals who have taken their love of great music to the next level. Performing as a group for the past 5 years and drawing on their lifetime of musical training and experiences, YOHIMBE produces a magical sound that is eloquent and creative.
The band is comprised of Erric Walker, Lead Vocalist/Keyboards, Gene Ginn, Keyboards/Vocals. On Bass/Vocals, Akil Wemusa, Don Meyer/Guitar, Dana Withers, Keyboards/Vocals, and Joe De Rose on drums.
Our goal is to exhibit the love for what we do. We have committed our lives to creating good music and our only goal is to share with the people who want to experience this gift. These 6 tracks on our EP are from the heart & soul of the band known as YOHIMBE. Please enjoy!!
