"Diggin’ Duggan" is the new recording project from musician Mark Duggan. Featuring Duggan’s eclectic writing style and imaginative improvisations on the vibraphone, "Diggin’ Duggan" brings together a collection of the most unique musicians from Canada’s jazz, pop and world music scenes. Diverse performers such as Suba Sankaran, Lina Allemano, Justin Haynes, Richard Brown, Bill Brennan, Jean Martin, Debashis Sinha, Rob Clutton, Ed Hanley and Daniel Barnes are featured in a variety of contemporary grooves and musical settings never heard before, anchored by Duggan’s clever composition and rich vibraphone tone.
As an active member of the Canadian music scene, Duggan is well known for his ten-year association with the group Vuja dé and has received multiple Juno Award and East Coast Music Award nominations for his previous recording projects. Duggan has performed his music to rave reviews at festivals and concert halls around the world from Asia to Europe and North and South America, and is often a featured artist on CBC radio and television.
