"Masters of Luxury''s "Welcome to Opulence" combines progressive precision along with the energy of both current hardcore rock and some of the best 70''s hard rock. Their sound is unique in that they don''t stick to one genre of music and indeed will switch between genres several times in the same song..."

"...Now, My God, these dudes are insane mixing rhythms of all kinds. They blend Stoner Rock, Heavy Metal, Punk, Alternative & even some Thrash & grooved influenced Funk as well as Indie sounds. They broke all the fucking rules of rock music plus they use other styles of music to incorporate it to theirs. Their music is very well executed; let me tell you. They really know what they''re playing & how they are playing it. They make me tense & nervous with so many changes in each of their songs. They are fucking insane but enjoyable & relaxing at the same time. The group has been around for a while now & have won fans thanks to their live shows & insane, chaotic, energetic, pleasurable music. They are definitely something else. Damn it! How do they come out with this weird stuff?, It''s nuts!. All the musicians in the band are matured and talented. Plus they are psychos, geez! Insane, cruel, psychedelic guitars, then comes fast, heavy parts from nowhere boom! Punishing ,funky, well elaborated bass work, then the maniacal drummer that can do it''s work very clean but in a savage way & then comes the vocals a weird mix of screams and beautiful melodic compositions. From nowhere aggression explodes. It''s simply fucking amazing. Fans of early Black Sabbath, Tool, Helmet, Down, Corrosion of Conformity & Fugazi will have brain damage after listening to this! buy it now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Hey!!!! This is good old fashioned sludgy stoner rock a''la Sabbath, but its got a little bit of spice. There are more progressive parts that take off and get real heady, there are southern rock and blues pieces that add cultural flare, and there are thrashy 80''s mosh pieces that add to the aggression. There is also a bit of an off-beat feel to these guys. Something just sounds wacky. I think its the singer. He''s bringing a crazy screamyness to this album that I wouldn''t have expected. He''s even almost growly in places. There are a lot of "out of control" jam sessions included, which will sound great to those who have the attention span for them. These guys take off on a leg of their own, and nothing really illustrates a good parallel. The closest that come to mind might be Clutch with Helmet. It is mean, but it is also kicked back and trippy. It is dark, but it also sounds just a little funny. It can be quite slow and simple at times, and in other is gets ridiculously complicated..."

"...I really can''t figure out in what musical style the band belongs to. Throughout the entire listening session I encountered rock, heavy metal, hardcore, stoner, progressive, death, doom, desert etc. and not even a single song is similar to another. The album sounds like Sabbath meets Pro-Pain meets Rollins meets Zappa. Got a clue? M.O.L. definitely have a sound of its own and the guys know a great deal of things about music..."

-Mario''s Metal Mania

"Masters of Luxury bring us Welcome to Opulence, which combine metal riffs and driving rock nā€™ roll beats. It reminds me of an early Henry Rollins mixed up with some Motorhead. Definite mosh pit music, so go drink a 6 pack and go screw somebody up."

Masters of Luxury have evolved from an intense anger management exercise into a complex, aggressive, and beautiful whirlwind of sound. With their foot firmly up modern rock music''s ass, M.O.L. has managed to find a sound both distinctly familiar yet wholly original. Tossing aside conventional song structure and limitations, the band creates songs that manage to be catchy while never running the risk of boring the listener. Heavy. Progressive. Metal. Groove. SuperMegaRiffazoid. All these words can be used to describe M.O.L.''s brand of rock, but why bother? Listen and find out for yourself.
