Merlo should sound familar to you because it is a famous wine maker. That would be Merlot with a "T". Unfortunately, that''s not me. I''m one T short of being rich. (Laughter here is recommended)
I am however a singer/songwriter/producer whose primary instruments are piano and voice. I studied classical music for 7 years and was a first chair violinist in a traveling orchestra growing up. I then progressed to the piano and found myself at home. I spent a year and a half with a vocal coach at Jan Smith studios in Atlanta honing my vocal skills.
I have had a song appear in an independent movie (Rejectors of the Blood) that won best feature film at a local film festival. (Listen and see if you can guess which one?) I have spent the last four years writing music and honing my sound which comprise my first album, "Songs From The Ground Up. My goal with this is to write for television, movies, other upcoming artists and of course, my own enjoyment. I hope these tunes will move and or inspire you as well.
