From Norse mythology, MUNIN is one of two ravens that accompanied Odin. He would send them out each day and they would return to him with news of goings-on in the world. "Hugin" was thought and "Munin" was memory.
Originally slated as no more than Boss'' entry into the 2008 RPM Challenge to write and record an album in a month, this project coincided with the passing of Boss'' grandfather and became a tribute of sorts.
Stylistically similar to the solo work of John Frusciante as well as Liz Phair''s earlier endeavors, MUNIN reflects Boss'' alternative roots in a fresh yet timeless way.
The CDs are handmade by the artist and include original block prints on the reverse side of the lyrics sheets.
