Details:
Budgy is a teenage bedroom electronic musician who found an outlet for his creativity through his laptop. Learning the basics of electronic music at a summer camp in 2-week intro to electronic music course in 2002, he took to develop producing as a major hobby.

In 2004, at the age of 16, producer Budgy attended a month long course at Oberlin College, Ohio, summer program for electronic musicians. By the time he had entered the program, he had finished 4 "albums" (even though they were more a bunch of random experiments rather than songs). At Oberlin he worked on fine-tuning his music, alongside experiencing college life for the first time. A short time after this program, the 6th album entitled "Line Eyer" was released. While still holding on to the funky, upbeat, choppy ways of Budgy, the music started to take a more serious turn (Especially compared to the early-2004 release of "Door Tripping" (5th album) though fans claim this album to be the epitome of the "old school" Budgy weirdo funk)

At the end of 2005, "Lapse" the 7th album was released after a year of production. The album was, like its predecessor, shifting Budgy into a more focused, melodic and serious tone. Two years after the completion of Lapse, the 8th album (entitled "Space-Time") would be finished, becoming the cornerstone for the change in style that was inevitably coming about.

"Space-Time" was finished in October of 2007, the 8th album by Budgy, and the first album completed by the producer since his entry into Rutgers University in the fall of 2006. Once Space-Time was completed, the sound of Budgy had seen huge changes; it moves away from the old style of random pattern shifts and mood swings within the song. While Space-Time as an album varies from upbeat spacey house themes ("Apart") to downright chill-out trip-hop sounds ("Falling Deep"), each song in itself maintained a certain mood that for once in Budgys music didn''t change up every thirty seconds of song.

The release of "Space-Time" in late 2007 triggered an onrush of albums all focused around sci-fi/philosophical themes about self-identity and obscure science; a reflection of the personal side of Budgy, as he began his career as a student of mechanical-aerospace engineering and reading various Philip K. Dick and other classic science fiction authors.

The albums from Space-Time on all share similar goals, yet each stand out in a unique way. Here is a listing and short description of each:

February 2008 - T-Minus (9th)
Essentially a sequel to Space-Time
Highlights: Corruption - Look Around You

May 2008 - Launch X (10th)
Harder beats, distinct environments, memorable melodies - one of the best Budgy albums. Contains a remix from the song
"Water Ice Dream" found on the 6th album "Line Eyer"
Highlights: Today We Fly - Cyclic Days - Ice Dream - The Skies, The Skies

August 2008 - Not Home (11th)
The Album begins with energetic, catchy upbeat tunes (the familiar part of electronic music) and throughout the album gradually descends into a laid-back, washy journey into unfamiliar territory. Going back to the first track after a full listen through, you''ll be surprised to see how far it had taken you from start to finish.
Highlights: Dream Within Dream - Ex Nihilo - Isolate

"Not Home" is the 11th album by Budgy in the 6 years of his producing life, marking 154 songs over the course of 11 albums.
