Her new single ELECTRIC UNIVERSE was originally inspired by the Coast to Coast radio program which on one night last November discussed the ''Electric Universe'' concept. Shortly thereafter, the song gained it''s depth and empathy after someone very close to the songstress experienced a breakdown.
"When someone you love is in the pit of despair, you so want to shine a light on any road that might lead them back to their happy selves. It touched me deeply and pretty much broke my heart to witness someone I cared about so much in this lightless, lonely, depressed place. You just want them to see that there is so much hope in their lives and so much to live for. Hence the line.... if you could see you through my eyes. But finding the way back takes courage and it''s a journey we all take to some level in a lifetime at least once….and for some, it''s frequent.
The untruths that can overpower our lives and the fear they create can be harrowing, but in the Electric Universe there can be only truth, only the true energy we emit whether it be positive or negative. It''s like everyone''s energy is this whole other invisible entity that impacts and connects everything. So what are we putting out there? How much are we willing to care? Karma is real, when we flow love, it flows back and that''s the Electric Universe at work…energy.
