In 1997 in Newburyport, Massachusetts, John Tagney-TAGS-(Songwriter,Guitarist,Vocalist)and Copeland Davis (Producer/keyboardist)created a Retro sound of with the help from friends TAGS met through the years of playing open mikes throughout New England and band mates from the band "Steel Fingers"; Mark Queenan on Vocals with TAGS, Frankie Crivello on Guitar, and Brian Mackinnon on Bass on song "I''m Free (But Alone). Gary Fuchion (DR. Humble) and Christopher Benson (Benny)play drums. Steve Berthiaume plays Sax on "Mr. Smitty" and "F.L.I.R.T." Mike Bartlett sings with TAGS on "Funknatic". The title "Totally Against Gravity" is from when TAGS was in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and his manager from The Christmas Farm Inn said; "Tags, you are totally against gravity" when he saw him ski.
