Who is Lou Dog?

Philadelphia-based garage rocker LOU DOG takes every long time musical
influence he''s got to create his unique and dirty rock songs. From Led
Zeppelin, The Replacements and Radiohead to The Velvet Underground and Bob
Dylan, LOU DOG took everything he learned from the masters to create and
record his own vision. The LouDog Theory: three or four chords is pretty much
all you need. He picked up the guitar in high school, started writing songs
in college, and it was over.

After honing his skills playing guitar in several different bands, LOU DOG
decided to take matters into his own hands and take full advantage of all the
musical equipment made available to him. He quickly wrote a lot of material,
played all the instruments on the recordings and released a cassette tape of
songs in 1994 called LOU DOG and The One Watt Sex Machine.

After holing up for a few more years, LOU DOG enlisted Philadelphia-based
rock producer Bogdan Hernik (Astrud Gilberto) to help create the critically
acclaimed 2002 release Slowly Drifting. Also well-received at college radio,
the "magnifique-ly sneerie" (Philadelphia City Paper) debut album was
produced, engineered and mixed at world-famous Indre Recording Studios by
Hernik, who returns in the same capacity on LOU DOG''s new EP, HIGH SPEED
SECRETS.

"Bogdan understands my music and knows how to get the sounds," says LOU DOG.

Over the summer of 2002, Hernik and LOU DOG moved their recording studio gear
(Shoe Shine Studios) into a rented house near the beach in The Hamptons on
eastern Long Island. They recorded 18 more songs there -- five of which
became HIGH SPEED SECRETS. Mastered by Bob Ludwig of Led Zeppelin renown, the
new EP is just a small taste of the full-length release due in summer 2003.

"Our goal was to keep the raw sounds, like string buzzes and other
imperfections," LOU DOG explains. "The album is produced to sound raw, even
though a lot of time and effort go into the tracks. We were always going for
a genuine rock sound, using true and real tones -- real drums, real guitars
-- so in 10 or 20 years time, this won''t sound dated."

LOU DOG also is putting the finishing touches on a side venture, The DNA
Project, with longtime friend Ann McNamee (Flying Other Brothers) and added
help from friend G.E. Smith (Saturday Night Live, Bob Dylan) -- a departure
from the familiar LOU DOG sound.

With LOU DOG, what you hear is what you get: Raw, passionate songs, with keen
lyrics, insightful views and full-blown rocking arrangements. LOU DOG is a
fresh breath of unfiltered air in the ever-mutating rock scene.
