Her voice can go from a Joni Mitchell trill to a Janis Joplin wail at a moment''s notice. She''s fronted bands in New Hampshire, Boston and Maryland and then came back to Boston to stay as a solo performer. Popular Baltimore area D.J. Damian Einstein frequently played her song, Knock Down the Wall, on his morning music show. Eve Zibart of the Washington Post wrote that Lucy''s "voice has a crystalline ballad thrill". Lucy likes to dig down deep and get to the dark spaces. She has created some beautiful music that delivers small slices of life in all of its beauty, poignancy and imperfect goodness.
