lightnin'' willie and the poorboys have gone through different members over the last ten years due to musical differences, marriage, and death. we continue to tour and work as much as possible. we have a strong fan base in europe and especially in the united kingdom where we tour every year during the summer months. we love performing live and look forward to every show as if it were the last. unfortunately we are still trying to find the right producer that would help us capture that ''live'' sound that we so enjoy. studio albums are wonderful to record, mix and master and we are proud of all that we have done but there is a magic that we are hoping to catch on our next studio venture. we are excited to record new material as well and we feel this is a great batch of new songs. it seems that you keep growing musically as you continue down the road...and what a long great trip its'' been.
we thank all of you for listening to what we do and the support we get when we are on the '' road '' we have friends all over the world and that in itself is worth a lot to us. Lucky As The Devil cd was recorded in three days and mastered in two. sylvio on bass (italy), franck rouleau on drums(france) and the best harmonica player i know giles king (suffolk, u.k.,[tractor boy]). wish we would of had more time but that is how the company approached the project and we are grateful for it has proven itself to be a great cd and well liked buy all concerned. give us a listen and check us out LIVE if you get the chance we won''t disappoint you!!!! thanks for your time and interest...
