"If Gregory Lygon doesn''t get discovered, then shame on the world and those in high places that could make it happen. This artist gives birth to worthwhile music and meaningful words, while sadly the big money maker now is canned commercial schlock; a la Brittney and Christina. Lygon''s music is exotic and dream-like. If you close your eyes you''ll drift very far away. His vocals are gorgeous and pure. Vocally he''s been compared to Kenny Loggins and Dan Fogelberg, but he shouldn''t be compared to anyone because he''s a Unicorn - enigmatic and rare."

Veteran of the renowned Alt band Cerulean Groove, Greogry Lygon is a unique finger stylist who studied with DC area players like Michael Fath and Al Petteway.
Gregory Lygon has been a guitarist and songwriter for over 20 years. After completing the Wammie nominated CD "Book of Mirrors" with his wife Renee (under the name "Dandelion Wine"), in March 2000, Gregory Lygon recorded "UnEarthly Passions", his first solo release.
While a departure from Dandelion Wine''s new age style, it still showcases Greg''s finger style guitar as it accompanies his voice on 12 original songs. "Passions" reflects a return to Greg''s singer-songwriter roots while still displaying his penchant for versatility. Almost eschewing genre, the CD traverses contemporary folk, jazz and new age in a cohesive blend, and allows Lygon to craft contemplative, philosophical lyrics.
2003 saw Gregory beginning work on a 2nd solo disc, and receiving a nomination for a Wammie Award by the Washington Area Music Association for "Best Instrumentalist, Contemporary Folk".
Greg has completed a 2nd CD, titled "The Most Lucid Moments," slated release October 2005.
