Margaret''s debut CD, Other Vistas, unveils a thoughtful singer/songwriter with a strong, pure voice. Her poetic lyrics, beautiful melodies, and sparse vocal harmonies blend the pop and folk genres, with influences ranging from Sarah McLachlan to Tori Amos, Shawn Colvin to Sting, Joni Mitchell to Jewel. Margaret grew up at the piano in San Francisco surrounded by R&B, jazz, folk, and classical music; she spent several years in the United Kingdom and moved back to California in 2000.
