Writing a bio is hard to do. It''s especially hard trying to refer to oneself in third person. So...scratch that, I''m going to just be myself.
This recording took place in a venue called "Eddie''s Attic" in Decatur, Georgia on a balmy July night. I remember crickets and someone told me my eyes were pretty. Eddie''s Attic is a lovely, little place right off of the city square and lots of lovely people have gotten their start there; Indigo Girls, Shawn Mullins, John Mayer, etc. In some parts of the recording you can hear silverware clinking and nice people laughing (probably at me, I can make some pretty funny faces) and maybe a sweet whisper or two. There was alot of my talking cut out so as not to bore you too much. I could''ve left it in but doing so would be like trying to explain a joke that was funny in the moment. It probably was great but when you attempt to try and revive the humor again with someone else you invariably end up saying something like,"Ah, well, you had to have been there..."
I''m in a funny place right now as I''m trying to figure out what to do with myself and my music. I had a bunch of people wanting a place to buy my CD and so I''ve arrived here. I''m most likely breaking every "marketing" rule out there but, oh well.
