Details:
Maurice has been singing since the tender age of 5 years old. He was a part of the children''s choir at age seven, and at that time it was evident that he had a special gift. Whenever someone would hear this little boy sing, they would rush to his parents and say, "That boy''s got IT! Maurice didn''t fully understand, yet he pressed on with that "It". Everyone who heard him felt "It", and was moved by that "It". People were blessed by that "It", lives were changed by that "It", and souls were led to Christ by that "It".

That young boy is now a grown man and relates to what the Prophet Isaiah said in his 61st chapter: "The spirit of the sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor." He''s now a husband, a father of three, an accomplished writer, producer, performer, and preacher. He''s been blessed to minister through song to thousands of souls all across this nation. I believe God has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners. Ultimately, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion, to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.

Maurice wrote and co-produced his debut CD "The Faith Factor" with Verity Records recording artist, Tonex in 1995. Featured songs: I''ll Do It, In My Heart, and the Head Physician.

Maurice has written for and performed on numerous projects with Kingdom Music recording artist "JahWord" featured on such songs as, "Strictly Ministry" and "Joy comes in the Morning" along with Verity Records recording artist Tonex.

Maurice has shared the stage with, and opened for, numerous gospel greats such as: Commissioned, with Fred Hammond, Pastor Shirley Caesar, John P. Kee, Tonex, Marvin Sapp, L.A. Mass Choir, Gospel Gangstas, Lanee Battle, Charles Wolfork, and Vicki Winans to name a few.

Maurice now comes to us with his sophomore release, Spiritual Intimacies.
Bound to be one of the most spiritually exhilarating releases of the year, S I is a journey into the relationship between our God and his children. The S I journey takes us through the streets of testimony, along the highways of commission, over the bridges of encouragement, and finally to a mountain top celebration of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Songs like Shout, and Yea, are old school parties waiting to happen. With these 70''s soul beats you''ll find yourself shuffling down the soul train line, shouting Yea to Gods will for your life, and singing along with Maurice, "God you make me wanna Shout." The urgency of Gods call to evangelize is evident through the song "Can I count on you?"

Maurice hits us with some spoken word on the jazzy track "Never", while he expounds on the fact the he never would have made it with out you (Jesus). "Yes he can, Yes he Will" is Maurice''s traditional offering where he encourages the believer, that anything you need just ask believing that yes, he can (do it), and yes, he will (do it). His favorite track sets us before the cross, with a dramatic presentation, where we can almost feel the heart ache of our Savior as Maurice cries out, "I died with you in mind". Spiritual Intimacies is a must have for every music lover and a guaranteed blessing for everyone who has, or is longing for a real relationship with God.
