Details:
Scott was born in Charleston, S.C. as a “navy brat”. He was very much aware of music at about age two when he would know songs on the radio before his mother knew what song was going to be played. He started piano lessons when he was about five and continued taking them until he was sixteen. His mother became a Christian as a teenager and his father was saved when Scott was six years old. He attended Christian schools and started singing publicly when he sang his first solo in a “Patch the Pirate” musical during his fifth grade year. He graduated from a Christian school and sang at his own graduation ceremony. He attended one semester of a Christian college participating in their music classes and programs but more importantly, it was during that semester that Scott made his decision to confirm Christ as his savior and made his commitment to follow Christ. He then joined the United States Air Force and has served for fourteen and one-half years. He is stationed at Tyndall AFB in Florida and has served a tour in Guam and five tours in the Middle East. He has written several songs (music and lyrics) that have not been published and he finally completed his first CD project in the fall of 2008 with his original music, playing the keyboard, and singing lyrics he has written with some help from family and friends. Scott gives full credit for his gifts and abilities to our great God and Savior.
