The Siluet''s story goes back to 1999 in Burgas (at the Black sea coast of Bulgaria) but the things didn''t come together until 2002, when the band settled down with the following 5 members: Mariana Dobreva (vocals, acoustic guitar and keyboard), Maria Dyulgerova (bass and vocals), Martin Profirov (drums and sound), Bogdan Dimitrov (electric gutars) and Martina Baldzhieva (violin, keyboard and percussions).
The first original song were called ''Eternity of the moment'' (''Bezkraia na miga'').
After 2 years spent in Norway (mostly playing covers) we came back to Bulgaria and till the end of Summer 2005 came out with our first demo called ''Siluet I'', including 3 original numbers: ''I realise'', ''Amsterdam'', ''Again'' and 3 covers: Jimi Hendrix''s - ''Purple Haze'', Aretha Franklyn''s - ''Baby I Love You'' and Queen''s - ''Crazy Little Thing Called Love'' (that were recorded live in Norway)
In the beginning of 2006 we moved to Sofia and start giging in the most celebrated live clubs there
In May and June we went on tour in Norway, where we played at the very popular live venues around Oslo and participated at few festivals .
After we got back in the summer we recorded the single ''Biagam'' (''I''m Running'') and took part at some of the highly esteemed festivals in Bulgaria.
In September 2006 Mihaela Nenova joined the band after the leaving of our previous violinist Martina Baldzhieva. After the change we won the award of the National Radio in a song competition with "I''m running". As a result of this we recorded a version of ''I''m running'' with the big band of the Bulgarian National Radio.
Being a whole band again we started making new songs and were performing all around Bulgaria. The 2007 passed mostly in traveling and gigging. We participated in lots of rock festivals, came up with a new bulgarian single ''Come with me''.
We started the 2008 in the studio working on our new songs ''Isolation'', ''Think About These Things'', ''Air of Freedom'' and ''The Message''. In parallel with regular gigs we were building our own studio called ''Rock School Studio'' in Sofia. We finished the recordings in May. The result was our first album called ''The Road''. It includes 10 songs made between 2005 and 2008. At present we are promoting our debut album in Norway (incl. Vinejrock festival and some of the most celebrated venues in Oslo and the south part of the country).When the winter comes we shall do the same in Bulgaria...
