What is worship? Many have asked that question and volumes have been written on the subject. At Glendora Community Church we see worship as a response to the activity of and relationship with God. It is God revealing Himself to us through Christ and by His Holy Spirit we respond. Our worship is Christ-focused and Trinitarian.
We believe that one of the best ways for this to happen is to listen to the reading of God’s word and then respond to it in song, in confession, in prayer, all of which are part of worship, and this is what you will experience in this recording.
This CD is a live recording of our SEVEN service that happens most Sunday evenings at Glendora Community Church. You will be led through portions of Revelation 4 and 5 (do you now see the meaning of the title?) and you will be able to respond in singing as we did when this was recorded. When you listen to this recording we ask that you find a place where you are able participate in the entire evening. Take the scriptures to heart and allow them to move through you and breathe in you. Let them activate your spirit so that you might worship God, through the Holy Spirit and the intercession of Christ, to the fullest extent. Remember, as we like to say every Sunday at Glendora Community Church, the Spirit of Christ is with you…right there where you are.
