With her love of music and technique for storytelling, SynSay is emerging as a force to be reckoned with in the hip hop community. This charismatic female boss has a refreshingly new sound with a club feel to it. Born Cynthia Gloria out of Oklahoma, she began her music career only a year ago in Seattle. Alongside with the group Urban Soul, she started her journey as a solo artist in the hip hop community. At this point in her career she began opening shows for such artist like Spice 1, Too Short, and 2 Live Crew just name a few. After grinding on her own for a year she hooked up with Seattle’s hype man extraordinaire Shurlock of BigDawg Records. After a couple of session SynSay, the self titled album was born with the 1st track being My Number 1.
The single Jeans is hot club track reminiscent of the durdy south college experience. With its tuba and brass driven bass lines, sitting on top a lean wit it drum track Jeans is definitely a song for the clubs. This song is a tribute to everywoman that says “Yeah I Know I Look Good in Them Jeans”, from Baby Phat all the way down to Apple Bottom.
