The anointed Pastor Isaac Mullins,Jr. is the founder and mentor of the dynamic ensemble known as Isaac Mullins & Divine Promise. "There''s A Blessing With Your Name On It" is released on iMVP Music/Central South Gospel. This is the second release on Isaac''s iMVP''s (Isaac Mullins Victory Praise) label.
The Divine Promise and iMVP Music Ministries were created in 1998 with Pastor Mullins, his wifeand Co-Pastor, Cheryl Mullins, and Natalie Thompson-Willis. They were blessed in 2000 to have Patricia Catchings join their musical entity. These voices blend with an awesome fervor to lift up and praise the matchless name of Jesus.
Pastor Mullins has an extensive background in ministry, songwriting and performing. He has written songs such as "Holy Spirit" which was popular for Dreyfus Smith and the Wings of Faith Mass Choir. He has also written jingles for many Atlanta gospel Radio Announcers and for radio and television. The popular jingle "Glory, Glory" was nominated as "Best Gospel Song" in 2001 at the Atlanta Gospel Choice Awards. Pastor Mullins and Divine Promise were also nominated "Best New Artist" at the 2000 Atlanta Gospel Choice Awards.
The iMVP release, "There''s A Blessing With Your Name On It" was written, arranged, and produced by Pastor Mullins with the hopes that the lyrics and melodies will give the listeners patience and unswerving faith as they live day to day. Pastor Mullins'' latest project has been featured on the "Bobby Jones Spotlight Countdown" and is being played on numerous stations across America, including XM Spirit Radio''s Top 30.
Isaac Mullins, Jr. & Divine Promise have shared the stage with national recording artists such as Vickie Winans, Dottie Peoples, John P. Kee and Kim Burrell to name a few. During Pastor Mullins'' duties as Minister of Music at Wings of Faith Ministries, the Wings of Faith Mass Choir was voted by the Atlanta Journal/Constitution as one of the "Top 10 Choirs in Atlanta".
In the near future, plans include recording and producing a new Divine Promise project as well as other artists under the iMVP logo.
The anointed Pastor Mullins is a graduate of Morehouse College and also obtained a Master''s Degree from Georgia State University. He is a member of BMI (Song of Isaac Publishing), Gospel Music Workshop of America (GMWA), and the Morehouse College Alumni Association. Isaac is married and has three children.
