Strange New Shoes is an innovative rock trio hailing out of the small town of Durango, Co. They strive to push the boundaries of rock by melding together the genres of funk, reggae, blues, metal, jazz, and acoustic melodies to create a truly authentic genre of original music. Founded by Casey Wickstrom (guitar, vocals) and Dustin Krupa (bass) in 2005, they soon evolved into an outstanding power trio with the joining of Nick Angiono (drums, djembe) in 2007.
