Statewide Emergency is proud to present their debut album, “Another Point of View.” With the album, recorded at Boulder, Colorado''s Coupe Studios (Rose Hill Drive, Devotchka, The Fray), the band hopes to establish themselves as one of the most exciting new bands in the Denver metro area music scene.
The band is comprised of high school juniors and one senior, all ages 16 and 17. They have a sound reminiscent of modern rock bands such as the Stone Temple Pilots, pioneers of rock such as The Who and Led Zeppelin, and alternative artists like Queens of the Stone Age and the Black Crowes. Despite being together for just over a year, Statewide has managed to release 14 original songs, play over 30 shows, and establish a devoted fan base in the Boulder/Denver area.
After tracking their debut album with just three members, the band added new bassist Caleb Kronen, allowing for them to remain a four piece group (how they had originally started). The setup allows them to capture the sonically rich and full album in a live environment. A heavy sound with just the right mix of melody, Statewide Emergency turns anyone within earshot into a fan.
