This disk features 24 of Boston''s best jam musicians. It''s KindVibe Music''s first offering and we refer to it as a "Notes and Groove" project. The general idea - get together talented jam musicians, roll some tape and let them go! No rules, except to let them improvise together on the fly. They might play an existing song or they might write a brand new composition. The goal is to play with soul, be creative together and quest for some musical magic.
For some of the tracks, there was group brainstorming before setting out on the musical journey. Others were created totally on the fly, as the tape was rolling. And for a few of the sessions, we wanted to cover some classic songs as well. For all the songs, all the instruments were recorded live, with no over-dubs.
We hope you enjoy, and stay tuned for Volume 2, which will feature some of these same folks and also some new players from the Boston and New England areas.
