Kenny Klein is a fiddler, guitarist, singer and performer, a veteran of Renaissance Festivals, Pagan festivals, and Folk, Celtic and Country shows. Kenny is well known as a master fiddler, guitarist, singer and songwriter. His songwriting and recording tackle genres as diverse as Celtic, Americana, electric Dark Wave, Bluegrass, Blues, and Beat Poetry. All are handled with a strong melodic element and subtle, playful lyrics. Kenny is known for his comic songs, such as Maria''s Not a Catholic Anymore and Dead Gerbils; as well as songs of myth, lore, longing and his past involvement with the wrong (Goth) girl. Kenny’s CDs run a gamut of styles, from the traditional Bluegrass of “Maple Tree,” to Darkwave (“Fairy Queen”), and Celtic and Americana Folk style (“Barley Moon,” “Little Birds”).
