Zera`Music celebrates the release of MY EVERYTHING, the sophomore album of Artie Hoyle and the music label’s debut project. This follow-up to Artie’s Come Holy Ghost, released in 2001, is a continuation of the showcase that reveals the many talents and wide musical appeal of this exciting artist.
“The making of this project was definitely a labor of love,” says Artie, the accomplished singer, songwriter and producer. “The release of the project was delayed (from January 2008) simply because it is so personal to me, and I had a hard time feeling like it was finished”. Indeed, MY EVERYTHING is a complete and wonderful collection of heart-felt psalms that have been written over a period of several years.
“I decided to record this collection of songs after writing None Like Our God, a song that had become a regular part of the worship service at Abyssinia (Missionary Baptist Church, Jacksonville, FL)” where Artie is the Chief Musician and Worship Leader. Says Artie, “I wanted people to be able to listen to these songs at home and in their cars, whenever they wanted to. And I wanted it to be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of their age, generation or musical tastes”.
