Psalms 7 is a Gospel Rap Group who ministers to people who are suffering from the harsh realities of street life. Both rap artist are former gang members, from two separate gangs.
Marlin Henderson or "Big Script," is a former Los Angeles Crip, who gave his life to God in prison. His lyrics definitely minister to people who are hurting in the streets and prisons across the globe. He has traveled to many states, neighborhoods, churches, and prisons preaching and rapping to young men and women trapped in ''the life'' (gangs, prostitution, pimpin, selling drugs, fatherless males, and in-mates in the criminal justice system).
Lawrence A. Stone or "Street Preacher" is the CEO of 3 J Records and founder of the Big Homie Program, a mentoring program for gang involved souls. In the early 80''s and 90''s before going to prison, Lawrence recorded three albums. He has opened for artist such as E-40, Master P, The Real Roxxane, and DJ Red Alert. Mr. Stone is also a international and national speaker and the Original Founder of the Tacoma Eastside Bloods in Tacoma Washington, for which he is very remorseful. While in prison serving time for drug trafficking, he turned his life over to God and promised to make a difference by telling young men and about the consequences of poor choices. He has been shot and stabbed on more than one occasion, and knows what the hood life is about without God . Lawrence is a graduate of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Seminary ,a registered counselor and a professional mediator. He was also chosen as Washington States top mentor of the year.
