MP3 Mo Rebo - Get a Grip

This genre-bending music is a compilation of tight heavy rhythm, smooth as silk bass, light soothing vocal harmonies, smoky saxophone, and some very interesting guitar work.

11 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Progressive Rock, WORLD: Samba

Details:
The core members of the band started out as a free form percussive/rhythm improvisational act. Within the last few years Mo Rebo expanded into a powerful dynamic of structured music. With the addition of vocals the band has created a large following of multi genre fans. The eight piece Mo Rebo lineup has a multitude of musical influences such as Rock, Latin Rhythm, African Rhythm, Juju, Pop, Folk, Funk, and Jazz as well as more eclectic styles. This particular CD, "Get a Grip", is just a sample of all of the backrounds Mo Rebo touches upon. The band is currently and anxiously working on another CD. Mo Rebo is always evolving and each piece is always going to be different from the next. The members of this band are more than just work partners, and you can tell by the way they play together.

Mo Rebo''s Tim Blumish died suddenly on Tuesday Feb. 8th, 2005 of natural causes. He was only 48 years old. He will be sadly missed by his wife and four kids, as well as the remaining members of Mo Rebo. He will certainly leave a painful hole in the hearts of all who loved and cherished him. Mo Rebo will continue to write and play together. A new CD will be released towards the beginning of 2006 in Tim''s honor. How lucky we are to have all of these new recordings to keep Tim''s spirit alive.
Sincerely,
Chris Polacci, Joel Polacci, Doug Russell, Kevin McCleary, Dan Grosso, Jeremy Quezada, Atu Fambrough, and Kurt Unger. (Mo Rebo)
