The idea of the CD was to arrange music into a journey - an imaginary escape from a prison somewhere in cold tundra, over a northern wall. This idea I got from a song of Mike Oldfield, North Point (Islands). The hero travels through the cold tundra, sometimes catching a train, sometimes floating on iceberg.

The reason why I liked the idea of travel was that I continue to seek for a new ways to re-invent myself all the time. And I notice that now, after I have finished this album I''m no longer the same man I was before. I''m a different man, so to speak. In this life, we have nowhere to run. Therefore only way to do so is to become a anti-person - get over the boundary of existence. Cut out yourself from the context. Become free.

My favorite hobby is to have a long walks in Japanese suburbs. They have this certain sleepy atmosphere, especially in afternoon. Few dogs barking, just before five a clock tune starts to blast away around the corner. I wanted to express this with track 16, Hotaru. Hotaru means a firefly.

The turning point on composing this album was fall 2004, when I composed track "Source". I had some cheerfull vigor in my body when I was sequencing the song - and maybe some of that vigor got materialized into the music. After that track was made, I decided to make this CD a more cheerfull and more rhythmic than my earlier discs.

I got inspiration to track "Wedding" from movie called Akira Kurosawa''s Dreams. In that movie there is a scene of weddings of foxes. The foxes have festal, secret weddings in forest, and it''s said that if humans ever see the weddings, foxes will get very angry. The scene was left in my mind, not only because it was such great portrait of young Akira Kurosawa''s mind. But it also included so wonderful symbolism. As its been said, life is a metaphor.

I hope this album will bring you the same wonderful feeling I had when I was working with this music.
