"Satisfied" is Rick Moore''s second release, in Europe on the music net/line music label and in the usa on MRL. It follows the critically acclaimed "slow burnin'' fire" (1997). "Satisfied" is a classic example of southern roots-rockin blues and soul. This recording takes you way down south, all the way to the cotton fields and the banks of the "big muddy." come on! take a ride "through the heart of the south"!

Players include Rick Moore (Memphis Blues Revue, Coon Elder band), Jerry King (Mother Earth, Dobie Gray), Sam Stafford (Rascals, Artimus Pyle Band), Yim Hinkly (Humble Pie, alvin lee, van morrison), nick buda (aquairum rescue unit), jimmy nalls (sea level, dr john, alex taylor), wayne jackson (memphis horns), jimmy hall (wet willie), jack pearson (allman bros.)

Rick Moore is a singer/songwriter/guitarist/ from the cotton country of West Tennessee. Growing up in Bolivar, TN (just east of Memphis), he was exposed at an early age to the likes of BB King, Freddie King, to his dad''s musical taste (Hank Williams and Fats Domino) and all the music that was made from Memphis to Muscle Shoals.

A guitar player since he was a youngster in the sixties, he grew up playing in local bands while working as a dj in high school. Howlin Wolf, Jimmy Reed and John Lee Hooker all served as influences through wlac in Nashville and a variety of Memphis stations. Carl Perkins was a hometown favorite.

While living in Memphis in the seventies and eighties he worked with blues great Don McMinn (Memphis blues revue), spent time with songwriter Kieth Sykes, and traveled the length of Mississippi with the Coon Elder band playing the jukes before it was popular to do so.

Rick later worked with groups ranging from the Amazing Rhythm Aces to singer Mink (Willie) Deville with whom he toured Europe in 1983. He spent time in New York, Boulder, and Key West before arriving in Nashville in 1987 and joining the thriving R&B, Blues, and Rock and Roll scene.

Rick Moore & Mr. Lucky have been "on the road" through out the 1990''s sharpening their musical skills. the result is "Satisfied," this second cd of Rick Moore''s. This recording contains great songwriting, slide work, and soulful singing...
the essence of living down south in the USA!
