Don Grzanna is a composer who performs his own music. This album contains all new jazz music. He has degrees in accordion, piano, composition, and a Master''s degree in music education. Education has been his life but performing has been his driving force and he''s never stopped doing either. Don Grzanna has performed mainly in the Milwaukee area, but has performed in Chicago and New York. This album was written in 2007 and recorded in 2008. Jazz was the idea and enough compositions were written for two albums. The second is to be coming later. The concept was to write some jazz music and see what happens. The compositions just flowed out and the results were good. The improvisation came easy and the result was happy music. Quality melodies are easier to understand and easier to improvise. Don Grzanna is a throwback to beautiful melodies and energy in improvisation. He hopes you enjoy his happy, energetic style in this album and his many others.
