O album Calmo, Sereno, Tranquilo foi gravado por Timoteo (conhado do Jayrinho) em um banheiro adaptado para servir como estudio em Junho de 1976 na casa da familia em Atibaia, Sao Paulo. Esta foi o primeirao projeto de gravacao feita por Jayrinho e Paulo Cezar da Silva, o Paulao. Eles dois haveriam de escrever muitas outras musicas anos seguintes. O sucesso alcancado com o album transformou-se na base para a fundacao da companhia musical que veio a ser conhecida como Editora Musical Elo.
Jayrinho ficou muito entusiasmado com o produto da mixagem da primeira musica. Assim, o que, no inicio, foi apenas um divertimento familiar (a gravacao de musica usando um aparelho de quatro tracks da Sony) transformou-se no album Calmo, Sereno, Tranquilo. Como todos gostaram da ideia de gravar musicas, logo Jayrinho nao tinha mais musicas prontas para gravar. Ele entao compos outras cancoes, bem como pediu ao seu grande amigo Paulo Cezar da Silva para adicionar algumas de suas proprias musicas ao projeto do album.
Ao final, ainda havia a necessidade de mais uma musica para completar o album. A pedido do Timoteo, Jayrinho pediu a um outro amigo, Ivan Claudio Borges para seder a musica Calmo, Sereno, Tranquilo. Sua musica foi incluida na colecao e tornou-se o tema do album - Calmo, Sereno, Tranquilo. A musica e o album alcancou sucesso imediato, tornando-se o cartao de identificacao no meu evangelico a partir dai. Alguns anos depois, com a Editora Musical Elo em pleno vou, Dick Torrans, outro dos grandes amigos do Jayrinho e Paulao, tambem parte da diretoria da Editora Musical Elo, criou um novo arranjo para a musica, gravando-a em um verdadeiro estudio (Gaither Studios, Nashville, EUA), como parte do album Ouvi Dizer. Com o novo arranjo e gravacao, a musica se tornou ainda mais conhecida. Calmo, Sereno, Tranquilo, com o passar do tempo tem se tornado uma das musicas evangelicas mais favoritas de todos os tempos no Brasil.

The album, Calmo, Sereno, Tranquilo was recorded in a converted bathroom by Tim J. Schlener (Jayrinho''s brother-in-law) in June of 1976 during a vacation at the family estate in Atibaia, Sao https://www.tradebit.comse recordings were the first recordings ever made of what later became the song writing team, Jayro Trench Goncalves and Paulo Cezar da Silva. Their success with this album became the foundation for their future music company, Editora Musical Elo.
When the tracks from the first song were put together and played for Jayrinho to hear, he began to get excited, what started out as family fun with a new toy, (a Sony four track real to real tape recorder) turned out being the album, Calmo Sereno Tranquilo. As the recording continued to take shape Jayro starded to run out of music, as he feverishly wrote more songs, he called in a close friend, Paulo Cezar da Silva to add some of his songs to the growing project, still lacking music to complete a now full blown album, one more friend was asked to contribute some additional music.
The last song to be recorded was the title song, Calmo, Sereno, Tranquilo, written by a fellow member of Jayro''s singing group, Ivan Claudio Borges. At the request of his brother-in-law, Jayro included the song in the album. The song was a run away hit from day one. Years later the song was re-arranged by then pardner, producer, close friend, Dick Torrans and re-recorded in a real studio (Gaither Studios, Nashville) on the album Ouvi Dizer making the song even a greater hit then ever! Today Grupo Elo is known world wide for that song which has also become an all time Evangelical favorite in Brasil.
