Details:
Solidifying an already strong original direction and putting it into words are two difficult things. Negative Space has taken that approach and has been able to speak to the fans with their high energy, entertaining shows. Crowd favorites throughout PA, NJ, MD, and NY, Negative Space has made the connection with their fans anywhere they are, anywhere they go. Combining pop backgrounds with energetic punk rock, their strong original base is growing every hour and reinforces the already strong connections between their fans and the songs they play.

The debut EP entitled "From all thoughts everywhere" which was released in June of 2002, showcases the bands strong songwriting and melodic, hook laden vocals. Performing with the utmost intensity and energy, the band performs each show without missing a beat, putting on "do not miss" performances every night. With a strong fan base and outstanding performances, Negative Space is becoming one of the most popular bands on the East Coast.

Known for their high energy performances, Negative Space has taken their show all over Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, and New Jersey. The band is currently represented by Media Five Entertainment. The Bethlehem PA based management/booking agency is the same company that represented chart topping national recording artists Live and Fuel, both getting their start in Central PA.

After two member changes in late 2001, Negative Space rebounded with an array of new originals and an eye opening performance in February at the 2002 Millenium Music Conference main stage in Harrisburg which caught the attention of numerous record labels. Voted favorite regional band by the listeners of 105.7 The X (WQXA FM York, Harrisburg, Lancater, PA) in early 2000, awarded the band the opportunity to open for national recording artists such as Fuel, 3 Doors Down, Lit, Stir, and 8 Stops 7.

The new EP was recorded in March of 2002 at Saturation Acres Studio in Danville, PA. Paul Smith and Bret Alexander (members of the PA based band The Badlees) have produced the EP and have a long standing reputation for delivering strong, powerful recordings as showcased in recent albums by Julian Fist, Darcie Minor, Stept On, and Breaking Benjamin. In addition to Smith and Alexander, the band also had the opportunity to work with Jeff Abercrombie (bass player of PA based national recording artists, Fuel).

Abercrombie worked closely with the band as a co-producer to put some finishing touches on the arrangements of one of the bands most popular songs entitled "Dirty". Working with such experienced songwriters and musicians as Abercrombie, Smith, and Alexander has helped Negative Space take the EP to a different level, bringing a sense of maturity and presence to the recording.

The first single off of the EP is the song "Dirty." It''s catchy and memorable vocals as well as the rhythmic guitars have made "Dirty" a fan favorite for quite some time. Currently, "Dirty" is on regular rotation on the central PA based active rock radio station; 105.7 The X (WXQA FM York, Harrisburg, Lancaster, Lebanon).

"From All Thoughts Everywhere" has also been named 3rd best album of the year for 2002 by the staff of the Pennsylvania Musician Magazine. https://www.tradebit.com

"The background harmonies, vocal phrasing, and interesting chord and key changes demonstrate more than cookie cutter songwriting".
Alex Greenberg-Pennsylvania Musician Magazine

"From the tight jangle of "Let Me Know" to the soon to be classic "Dirty", this E.P. burns with a muted intensity that barely does justice to the sentiments that are buried under the happy go lucky stage presence of the PA five-some".
