Since this lineup started working together in 2001, Lancaster, Pennsylvania''s Negative Space has been touring nonstop, playing over 600 shows from Key West, Florida to Killington, Vermont, and all points in between. Negative Space has opened for 3 Doors Down, Fuel, Lit, Social Burn, Seether, and RA, and performs regularly at the legendary CBGB''s.
With over 3,000 copies of their debut album From All Thoughts Everywhere sold, Negative Space is on regular rotation with the single ''Dirty'' for the past nine months on WQXA 105.7 the X York/Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, other regional commercial stations, and college radio stations.
Negative Space was the only unsigned band to chart on both The Network''s ''Underground'' Specialty Show Chart for the week of April 11, 2003 and HITS Magazine''s Post Modern Top 30 Specialty Airplay Chart for April 18, 2003.
The new EP entitled "Nothing Ordinary" was released in October of 2003 showcasing the bands live, energetic sound. To produce "Nothing Ordinary" Negative Space was able to enlist Kirk Kelsey (Creed, Scorpion King and End Of Days Soundtracks) to help capture the live energy Negative Space is know for. Songs such as "Holiday" and "Best Kept Secret" set the tone for the rest of the EP. "The Beautiful" and "When We Collide" help round out the middle of the record while setting up the title track "Nothing Ordinary" as a great closer. "Nothing Ordinary" was recorded in August of 2003 at Angel Mountain Studios in Bethlehem, PA. As a bonus, two CD-ROM videos for the songs "Anthem" and "Holiday" are also included on the CD.
