I am Madio aka TexT. Real name Madio, stage name TexT. Hip Hop artist from Canton, MI who has now made the big move to solo status.
Madio aka TexT has been in many media mediums to showcase his talent. From newspapers included, but not limited to the Detroit news, Canton/Northville/Plymouth/Garden City Observer, The Canton/Westland/Plymouth Eagle.
Also, his performace record shows a veterian status pending. From performing in venues and shows such as, The Blind Pig, The Bullfrog, Theos, The Boom Boom Room in Atlanta, GA, The Show Down in Atlanta, GA, and also college campuses nationwide. With hundreds of performances under his belt is was only fitting that local Atlanta TV Show, Behind The Shine, asked to do a spotlight on this performer. Look for behind the shine in late 2008.
Madio aka TexT has worked and built relationships with all kinds of people as well. AKA and from P.O.D. Music,Dante Tucker from Havoc, Frank Taylor from Taylord Entertainment, The Sponge from Havoc, Choir Boi from DTP records, Face a local Detroit promoter, Tango Redd from Universal Records, Craig King a major producer who has produced for Alliyah, Fresh Prince, and Kanye West just to name a few, Charlene Burkes from Behind The Shine, Lipton who has produced for such acts as Steve Chucks, Buff 1, Grand C, 87, Dante, Galaxy, Madio aka TexT, Phathom, Marv One, Past Due, Chief to name a few, George from Purple Hash Productions, Jeff Robinson who has over 25 years of experience in the music industry from radio to producing to recording engineering also he is the CEO of a record label based out of Plymouth, MI called Third Monk Records, G Styles, and the list just keeps on growing.
Radio has been no stranger to Madio aka TexT either. Origix and DC from The Zone Radio are good friends of Madio and they have Interviewed him many times. Also local highschool radio stations have been playing his music for some time now.
Currently Madio aka TexT is working on his debut solo L.P. called Suburban Bread. With all the connections and relationships he has built over the 5+ years of being in the Hip Hop game, you will be sure to see it mid 2008.
After being the major writing force behind his hip hop group VeRb, I, Madio, decided it was time to take what I had learned, and my connections, and try something new. So this is where I am at now. After meeting and building relationships with people all over the country it is now time to take my solo career to the next level. With a newly found business sense, and the writting skills to match, it is time to show the world just who Madio aka TexT really is!
