This is my 2nd solo effort. It''s been one year but it feels like four since I completed "Blessed Imperfections". I have continued on this CD to record in a very basic and under-produced style. Why do I prefer simple to slick corporate productions? Maybe because at my age, I''m more interested in producing more artistic expressions, rather than spending most of my time, attempting to refine them. Even if these tunes appear improperly dressed, they represent the "rough around the edges" persona, that is me. Besides, I have to devide my time between family, work, school and music. Consequently, even if I wanted to shine thse tunes up like little musicaal diamonds, I just don''t have the time. However, I hope these songs speak to your heart and relate to your situations.
I will also have a band CD out soon. Watch for Welcome to the New World at CD Baby. It''s a collaborative effort between Jim Johnson and Myself. Stet Howland of W.A.S.P/Temple of Brutality fame will be supplying some of the drum power.
