Details:
Sounding like the Antifolk addicted brainchild of the beloved "Postal Service"
Boo Hoo sparkles with slightly strange ideas in his lyrics: Growing up in supermarkets,
talking to dogs or dying next to Morrissey, etc. His live shows vary from dancy
electro-pop partys including casio versions of the ALF-theme to stripped down
acoustic shows with folky flair, halfway between Phil Ochs and Kimya Dawson.

While his very own version of the Blink 182 classic "What''s my age again" became an
underground hit in his hometown Frankfurt/Germany and adorable german indie blogs
like "Jackpot Baby!" the title track of his debut ep "Heartbeatspeed" appeared in the
2007 playlists of several european webradio stations from France to Greece.

In the last two years Boo Hoo himself was playing concerts in villages, on festivals and vegetarian indie clubs from Hamburg to Switzerland and back. Currently he can be found waiting for you to order his first full length „Hypermarché“ (2008), remixing tracks by fellow singers/songwriters, changing his mood on his myspace page or writing call and response songs about Doogie Howser.
