Details:
If you had to sum up Nuisance in one word it would most defiantly be "Power". You don''t always have to have massive distortion and be playing a million notes a minute to be powerful. A strong vocal melody or a clean guitar part played with passion and emotion can be just as powerful.

From day one, Nuisance has tried to imbue power and passion into their work. From full throttle powerhouses like "Suffocate" and "Sacred" to very emotion- filled mellower tunes like "Fall Away" and "Closure", Nuisance has strived to create a balance between Heavy and Melodic.

They have achieved their goals with their debut LP, "SUFFOCATE". Named after one of the most powerful songs on the album (and also the first the band ever finished in its current lineup) the CD covers all the bases with fast, aggressive songs, as well as the aforementioned mellower tunes. I refuse to use the "B" word to describe these tunes, because although they are slower, there is no sappiness factor that would put them in the dreaded "ballad" category.

Each and every fan that has purchased the CD has said it is the best "unsigned" band CD they own and each and every one of them have expressed a different favorite song. This shows the range of emotions and textures the band explores. From the Tool-esque "Mouth Of Madness" to the manic, almost punk energy of "Petrified" there are no "filler" tunes on the album. There truly is a song for every taste.

You simply will not find a better rhythm section around than Jason on bass and Word on drums. Add to that the dual guitar sty lings of dreadlocked rhythm guitarist Pilk and guitar "colorist" as the band calls David. To finish off the recipe add Vocalist Brandon Crow, who chooses to sing more rather than scream needlessly. (Although he can let it out anytime he chooses as evidenced on the intro to "Eye For an Eye", possibly the heaviest tune the band has ever written and recorded). All told Nuisance is poised to be the best band you are about to discover.

So open up your eyes, and ears and enjoy the ride. Just don''t forget to breathe.
