Details:
I was born and raised in Hollywood Ca.

The first band I played in (in the early 60''s) was "The New Dimensions" a local surf band.

The founding members of this band were Michael Lloyd (who went on to become a well known producer) and Jimmy Greenspoon (one of the original members and still with "Three Dog Night").

After The New Dimensions I did a short stint with a local group "The Eastside Kids".

Around l967 I got together with Denis Lambert and together we formed the acoustic duo "Lambert and Nuttycombe".

Lambert and Nuttycombe recorded their first album for A&M records titled "At Home" released in l970.

This album was produced by Glyn Johns and David Anderle.

It features just our two guitars and voices and is still considered a special album by those who remember it.

The album was actually recorded in our home is Sausalito, Ca.

Lambert and Nuttycombe released a 2nd album in l973 on 20th Century records titled "As You Will".

This album was produced by Keith Olsen (Fleetwood Mac) and features other musicians.

Among them was a brand new kid in town named Waddy Wachtel playing guitar.

I released a solo album in 1978 on A&M records titled "It''s Just A Lifetime" recorded in England, produced by Glyn Johns and Andy Fairweather Low.

This album featured some wonderful players such as Andy Fairweather Low, David Markee, Georgie Fame, Henry Spinetti, and Bernie Leadon.

All three of the above albums are presently out of print and the rights owned by Universal Music Group.

There has been some talk of them being reissued in Japan at some point? Since relocating to the central coast of California I have recorded and released three CD''s on my own in the past ten years.

They are "My Own Beat" (1990), "Planetorial Janitor" (1997), and "Get It Done" (2000).

These albums feature some wonderful players of this area and a few from out of the area.

A note (all pun intended) of interest for anyone who remembers and enjoyed Lambert & Nuttycombe, Thanks to an old friend of many years (Carole Johnson) I have come across 40 unreleased Lambert & Nuttycombe tunes from various demo sessions.

They are being licensed and released (on a two CD package) in Japan this August by Air Mail Recordings.

I play around locally and continue to write songs...
