METAL: Heavy Metal, METAL: Metalcore

Details:
Organized Hostility formed in 1999. They quickly started working on a style and sound, as well as forming their beliefs and goals as a band. The five-man line-up proceeded to write a play list of songs, infested with brutal grooves and laced with political activity. The drums are quick and the vocals agonizing. Their heavy groove oriented style is not your average angry metal music but smarter, more calculated, a planned fury.

After cornering their style, Organized Hostility hit the road, playing countless shows across the Gulf South, and gigging heavily to make a name for themselves in their hometown of New Orleans, LA. By April 2000, Organized Hostility had recorded their first CD entitled "Demo 2000 (Limited Edition)". This four-song demo showcased the songs "Ill", "Conditioned", "Champ-Pain" and "Wifebeater". Soon after they re-released the previous demo with new artwork, and a new name, "Demo 2001". These two CDs helped the band gain a strong local following that would stay devoted to O.H. in the years to come. The band picked up momentum through 2001. Word soon spread about the band''s outrageous live show, which usually included the band members tangling up in wild fits of rage, and passionate displays of slamming from both the band and its frenzied crowd.

In November of that same year, the self-titled EP "Organized Hostility" was released, offering several new songs and updated versions of some older crowd favorites. This mixture of old and new material was a success, and fans quickly snatched up the new disc, which included the tracks "Two Minutes Hate", "Razor Wire", "Pacified", "Acceptance", and "Absence Of Motive", as well as new recordings of "Wifebeater", "Ill", and "Conditioned".

Organized Hostility has now become its own entity, a non-stop metal machine that continues to move forward. The band released the "Idolkill" Ep out on Camp Fury Records in April of 2004. This EP will consists of 4 new studio tracks plus a bonus hidden track. "Idolkill" is O.H.''s most brutal effort to date, and is a taste of what is to come from their upcoming full length "Happy People Don''t Exist".
