Orion''s Room is what you get when 3 brothers, 1 wife and 2 great friends bring their talent and love for music together. If you had to put a label on Orion''s Room you might call them alternative acoustic rock, but the band is much more than that label suggests: powerfully distinctive vocals; energetic stage performance; exceptional original songwriting featuring violin and saxaphone.
This band is making a buzz in Colorado and headlines Denver''s best clubs regularly. They play almost every weekend, both in and outside of Colorado. They have toured to Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma, Idaho, Utah and New Mexico and continue to book gigs in other states.
A major highlight for O.R. came when they had the opportunity to open for Michael Glabicki, lead singer for Rusted Root, during his solo acoustic tour. Others include the many live radio performances, festivals and benefit concerts they have been a part of.
Orion''s Room is very excited about their future and it shows in every performance. They have built a strong following and are committed to promoting their unique sound by continuing to distribute free music samples wherever they play. They regularly have guest musicians join them on stage to expand their sound and invite local artists of all types to contribute by painting equipment, cover art etc.
