The Outfit, basically is a group of four completely different men from the suburban melting pot know as Seattle Wa.. Formed 01'' after a few line-up changes this hard hitting 4 piece has set fire stage after stage including the 2nd stage at the Kiss/Aerosmith 03'', They got down with Sir Mix a Lot New Years 05'' and after 5 weeks on Clearchannel owned KFNK they have released their first official release "Be Explicit". With powerful lyrics from vocalist Michael Dubois who is a self coached singer/rapper/lyricist that delivers a pulse pounding stage performance. Self expression pours out as a mix of rock, funk and hip hop twist down a narrow path as Alternative Rock. Mike (singer/lyricist) is from Seattle Wa., he found a love for singing in a Pentecostal church and has a natural ability to work the crowd. If he can''t get you jumpin'' you probably shouldn''t be jumpin. You won''t hear a drawn out screechy guitar solo listening to The Outfit, only a smooth clean sound laid down by guitarist Casey Shirks. Casey is a Tacoma native who has been jamming on the guitar since the 3rd grade. He has an ear for perfection and has an everlasting desire to bring a new sound to the table, in other words he gets down! In a town filled with left over grunge bands, metal bands and Indie rock The Outfit is one of a kind. So far we have a rapper/singer and a guitarist who doesn''t solo what''s next you ask? Well how about a funky bassist from Kent Washington, yes I said Kent. Dan Hatfield found a passion for playing music influenced by a little of everything including Rage, Flea (I mean The Chili Peppers), 2PAC, The Beastie Boys and many others. He asked me to tell you to turn up the volume and feel the bass, so do it. With all this said we a have yet one person to tell you about, Robbie Armijo. The drums are an instrument that require a deep imagination and dedication, Born in Burien Washington Robby started playing the drums at age 5. With 15 years of lessons Robbie has definitely proven dedication.
