Odds Against Tomorrow was initially formed in early 2003 by three former members of The American Girls, an act once touted by USA Today as a band to watch in the new Millennium. Although they had regional radio success with their major label release, (Trauma Records/ Sony Music Publishing/ William Morris) the band lost their momentum and dissolved at the end of 2001. The members all parted ways, until Higgins, Scott and Dan reunited two years later, taking the name Odds Against Tomorrow as a reminder of the harsh statistical realities of the fickle music business.
Odds Against Tomorrow started to book shows immediately, playing with a succession of fill-in bass players. However, the band was not complete until May of 2003, when a friend suggested they approach Baseboard Heaters'' bassist Matt Souther. Like his new band members, Matt was in the market for a creatively and professionally satisfying new project. Within months, the new band had written over twenty songs, and began building a solid new fan base in the Portland, Oregon club scene.
With the help of producer Rogers Masson (who has lent his eclectic talents to acts as diverse as Marilyn Manson, Emmylou Harris, and The Crickets) Odds Against Tomorrow is set to release their debut CD, titled Nights. Not. End. The album features 12 tracks that span the musical landscape, from the dark and visceral rock of "Shallow Breathing" to the pleasure of truly joyful, exuberant pop of "It''s True" and "Hustle."

Once upon a time, Portland''s American Girls oozed sleek, seamless pop that verged on the sugary and acquired national label attention. It''s offspring, Odds Against Tomorrow, also promises such greatness, but with a darker, gutsier slant where guitars slam head-on against a top 40-bound structure, resulting in something much more fiery.
