Biography:
LA Peach Production/LuNeIs Records introduces Travata Stewart (age 15), Brenda Lopez (age 14), and Joyce Ramirez (age 15) otherwise known as O.W.S (Original Works Sistahz). Under the umbrella of the well-known Bridgeport,CT theater company, Original Works, Inc., OWS has evolved into the hottest upcoming new R&B group. Pulled from different communities and backgrounds these three young ladies combined their unique stylings to create a young and refreshing sound of music.
After a year of writing and training, OWS is on the verge of launching their first single "Rain Drops". Written by Travata Stewart, "Rain Drops" symbolizes the emotional rollercoaster of love and betrayal. With the song, OWS encourages listeners to walk away from unhealthy relationships. The message added with the brillantly composed music (produced by Luther A. Blackwell, Jr) is sure fire.
To launch and promote their hot new single the girls have begun a tour across several states performing in popular night clubs, banquets, and other venues. In addition to their upcoming tour, they have released their music video for "Rain Drops" which has had an overwhelming response.
O.W.S is no stranger to dedication. All three have had over 3 years of musical and theatrical training.
Instructed by some of Connecticut''s top performing arts programs like Original Works, Inc and Regional Center for the Arts OWS has acquired training in dance, voice and diction, acting, songwriting, directing, and stage presence. Under Original Works, Inc., OWS combined have performed in over 10 Off-Broadway performances most of which were lead or primary roles. In fact, all three had dominant roles in the hit play "Marginal Saints" which won first place in the International Fringe Festival in New York City.
