Hi and thanks for stopping by and please read the reviews at the bottom so you can get a feel for what this CD is like...most people tell me they love that you can either play it in the background OR listen intently and get the same enjoyment. NOTE: In the nice review given to me by
Scot Andrews, he mentions that the CD was mastered from old cassette tapes and said that the slight hiss did not detract from the overall sound...just want you to know that he reviewed a copy that was burned many moons ago and that I have completely remastered ALL 32 songs from the source tapes. Coryell told me it''s "a thing of beauty!"

For the impatient: listen to number 13 and number 1 to get
a quick feeling about the cd.

There are 32 tunes on this CD, with a total running time of 74:34 minutes...that''s a great deal when you consider your Nora Jones record probably had 10 tunes and 45 minutes playing time. I try to be fair when I put out a CD and as I am fairly prolific, it''s not a problem to use up that real estate of plastique. This CD also includes the track that was covered by Wayne Shorter, Larry coryell, Buster Willimas , Nestor Torres and others called "Pascual Lives"

I am very proud to have Mr. Coryell on my cd, and as a friend. I should note to you that the music I recorded with him on this CD is not available elsewhere,he is on 3 tunes, about 12 minutes of the playing time. The rest, you''ll have to put up with my playing!

As for the rest of the music contained on INVENTION,
it is a compilation of work I have done across 25 years. It is mostly improvisational tracks with a melody added immediately afterward. It is executed on a "jazz" guitar (my 1960''s Gibson Johhny Smith) but I am untrained in the schools, so you''ll go places you didn''t expect to go.

The Bianco tune was recorded in one take by him, sent to me in the mail, and my track was added in one take.

Anyway, I''ve had some great response and hope you consider this worth your precious time, kidz.
