Details:
Larry Bailey grew up in a musical family: his father played guitar, and Larry, along with his eleven brothers and sisters would sit around and sing country and gospel songs. Larry and his brothers formed a rock and country music band as youngsters, playing together into their teen years. Raised as a guitar player, he was so dedicated to music (and still is) that he learned how to sing and to play bass and drums.
And when Larry quit high school to join a road band, it was as a drummer. He traveled across the midwest off and on until he was 22 years old, soaking up everything he could about the music business.
In 1986, he moved to Phoenix, AZ, and was hired by a country band called "Cross Fire”. The band split up 4 years later and Larry went on with the band "One Street Over", one of the hottest country-rock band in Phoenix for quite a while.
A very busy guy for the last 15 years, Larry manages to raise five children, to build computer systems during his spare time, to play drums and sing 4 nights a week in a country music band, to write songs, and to show as much enthusiasm about music as he did when he first started.

Let’s have Larry introduce us to his brand new CD “Give it to the Rock & Roll” :

…”Most of the songs on this CD were actually written in the seventies, when I was a boy between the age of 12 and 15. I have had this music in my head for a lot of years, and always dreamed of recording it someday, ….and now I have.
This music shows where my head was at when I was young, and who my Rock Music influences were. You can hear a lot of Grand Funk, James Gang, and Deep Purple, in the music that I wrote back then.
Every vocal part was written and performed by me on this CD, and I also played all instrumentation except for the keyboards on three of the tracks. There are six tracks that were written in the seventies, two in the eighties, and one, “You got another thing comin’ ”, written this year.
This is definitely old school rock and roll. The kind that you’d hear on the old 33RPM record albums, when you’d lay back and listen to the music with headphones on.
So if you like the Old Rock sound, then I think you’ll like this CD. It’ll take you back on a journey to a better place and time….”
